Most people email me: "hey are all those modifications on your site,
applied to your own car?" And the answer is: "Well, they used to be on
my car, but nowadays I even write about other cars".
So the second question is: What are your modifications and how did you apply
them, in what order etc.
I've included the price as well. Note these prices are exclusive shipping
and exclusive V.A.T. A general rule of the thumb I use for converting dollar
prices to NLG is times 4. So if you're Dutch and you would like to buy some
performance parts from any dealer (well, there is only one and that's me ;-) use
this rule. Shipping is really killing you and the tax rate is just increased
from 17.5% to 19% !!! Import tax is sometimes another 6%
And the last notice: Some prices has gone higher. For example, I can't find the
Apexi AVC-R boost controller anymore for the price I paid for it!

The Car
Hehe, the first modification I did to my life, was the car ;-) I bought the
car in October 1999, with 85085 km on the odometer. I bought the car at the
Toyota dealer in Haarlem, called "Kooyman en de Groot". I paid too
much for it, but at that time, the price was about what I wanted to spend on a
car. And I always wanted a Supra AND the car was (is) in excellent condition. So
after all, I'm complaining too much ;-)

Rims and Tires
After a little accident I had with my car when some concrete pole just
walked across the road where I was driving I had to replace my rims and
tires. I damaged one original rim and an original replacement rim (toyota
5 spoke) was too much money and not easy to get for the dealer. So I
replaced my rims and tires, because I wanted 17 inch wheels. Now I want 18
inch wheels b.t.w. |

Turbo timer
I installed a Blitz Turbo timer as my next modification. The
installation place was in the middle console, where normally the TEMS
controls are. My car has no TEMS (like most Dutch Supras) so this space
was spare. I'm currently relocating the Turbo Timer into a DIN panel
underneath my neat Z919 MP3 player. |

Well, I'm not telling about fuel. Fuel costs way too much over here.
